About Us

Dogzilla & Cat Cong, LLC was founded in September 2017 and we’ve had the great privilege of caring for a growing family of pets ever since. Our roots were planted in Brooklyn, NY where an incredible community of pet owners and enthusiasts allowed us to find our first successes. We were able to make friends with and care for nearly two hundred individual pets with thousands of service calls. Like many others, we faced considerable crossroads with the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately decided to relocate to the Catskills. Met by another incredible community, we were able to pick up where we left off, providing committed care to a new and growing list of furry friends.

Nigel Cronk - Pet Professional/Owner

After ten years of living in the city, I am thrilled to bring my passion back home to Sullivan County, where I grew up. I currently live in Livingston Manor with my my two cats Milkshake and Oceana, and my dog Sedgewick. I have always been a pet owner and an animal lover, but I never dreamt that I could turn that passion into a career. While managing an independent pet food and supply store in Brooklyn, I discovered the breadth of the pet industry. On a daily basis I had the opportunity to play with dogs and be a resource for pet owners regarding everything from nutrition to scratching posts. I saw how a local business could become a valued part of the community, and I sought a way to be of even greater service to pets and their owners. I wanted to get out from behind a counter and provide hands on care for cats and dogs. I spent nearly three years dreaming up a small business to allow me to do that and I have now spent over seven years living that dream. I look forward to a being a friend and a resource. 

Kiana hernandez - Pet Professional

Kiki is a born and raised New Yorker with a passion for pet care. She too, has grown up with pets, and providing them with love is her natural state of being. She has helped with Dogzilla & Cat Cong from the very beginning and has been a source of wisdom and support through countless days of planning and problem solving. Kiki has helped solidify and refine the company’s practices and philosophy on how to provide the absolute best pet care possible. In spring of 2019 she dove deeper and became an official Pet Sitter, and her furry friends have celebrated ever since. She has a love and talent for creating things with her hands, so we have her to thank for a number of the lovely drawings featured on this page and elsewhere. She also has a passion for theater, so don’t be surprised if you catch her singing a soothing serenade for your dog or cat. Kiki cares for our clients as much as our pets so she is everything Dogzilla & Cat Cong could ask for.
